Incognito Braces Surrey
At Mulberry Dental in Surrey we take the time and effort to invest in the very best orthodontic systems for the benefit of our patients, which is why we now include the innovative Incognito brace system in our list of treatments.
We treat a wide range of orthodontic problems, both minor and complex, and with our experienced and skilled orthodontist, Dr Riten Patel we are able to effectively straighten crooked, twisted and gappy smiles.
We are also interested in creating beautiful smiles discreetly. Incognito braces sit behind the front teeth during treatment, offering patients a high level of discretion when undergoing teeth straightening.
What does the procedure involve?
When you first visit the practice the dentist will thoroughly examine your teeth and mouth, and also discuss how the Incognito system works to straighten your smile.
Every person's orthodontic condition is different, which is why we take personal impressions, images and measurements to help us plan your individual treatment and custom-fit your braces.
Once you have been examined and your new Incognito braces are created, we will invite you back to the practice to have the wires and brackets fitted on the back of your teeth.
- Your Incognito brackets are tightened every few weeks to ensure your teeth are straightened effectively.
- Incognito braces are incredibly quick and in most cases you will be able to see tooth movement in as little as 2 weeks.
- Dr Patel will make sure that your teeth are moving correctly and make any changes if he feels they are necessary.
- Treatment times vary but usually complete between 9-15 months.
Incognito braces can be used to treat:
- Gaps or spacing between the teeth.
- Protruding front teeth.
- Abnormal bites, where the upper and lower jaw do not sit together correctly.
- Crowded teeth that require spacing.
Treatment with Incognito braces is:
Highly discreet: Your custom-fitted Incognito brace is fitted to the back of your teeth, so no one will even see that you are having orthodontic treatment.
Comfortable: Many orthodontic patients are allergic to the nickel material used in fixed braces, but as Incognito braces are completely nickel-free they are more comfortable to wear.
Fast: Incognito braces are highly affective at correcting a wide range of dental problems and movement can be seen within 2 weeks of the treatment start. The average time for treatment completion is between 9-15 months.
Will I be able to add my input during the initial consultation?
We will always listen to your worries, problems and expectations to ensure that we find the right teeth straightening option for you. We will discuss all aspects of the treatment, both its pros and cons before you make a final decision.
How much does it cost for the first consultation and who will perform it?
An experienced Incognito dentist will carry out your first consultation, which is completely free and does not require you to choose treatment with us.
Will impressions be made?
Impressions will be made of your teeth, so we can treat all aspects of your orthodontic problem.
Are tooth removals necessary with Incognito braces?
We do all we can to enable our patients to keep their own teeth, but in cases of severe crowding we may need to remove some teeth. However, all other options will be considered before we do this.
When do I receive my Incognito braces?
Once they have been custom-made and sent back to the practice, we will call you in to have you Incognito wires and brackets fitted.
How often will I need to have my Incognito braces tightened?
You will return to the practice once every 6 weeks to have your braces checked and tightened. This is to ensure you are receiving the optimum level of correction from your braces.
Are there any hidden costs?
We are upfront about all costs and care involved during your initial consultation, so you won't be caught unawares once your treatment is over.
Can I spread the cost of Incognito?
We want every patient to receive the very best orthodontic treatment and not feel limited in their choices. We offer finance options to all our patients to help them spread the cost of treatment.
