Dr Patel has undertaken extensive postgraduate training, working under the tutelage of some of the world’s best cosmetic dentists. His training in the States, in famous Hollywood celebrity dental studios has gained him the knowledge and skills to offer unparalleled cosmetic dentistry in the UK. Dr Patel regularly travels back to the US to work alongside celebrity dentists and keep up to date with the very latest advances in dentistry and technology.

Dr Riz Syed
Dr Riz Syed qualified in 1999 at the Royal London Hospital. He worked in the Oral Maxillo-Facial surgical department at the Royal London Hospital. After leaving hospital he worked for a number of years in a specialist surgical practice.He lectures on all aspects of dentistry and is now a mentor for Nobel Biocare, helping new implant surgeons in all apects of implant dentistry. He works extensively with Nobel Guide surgery and has been awarded the clinic of excellence in implant dentistry. Dr Syed has successfully completed extensive post graduate studies in advanced implant dentistry. He has trained extensively in both America and Europe on advanced hard and soft tissue management. He is also highly experienced in more complex aspects of implant surgery such as sinus grafting, ridge expansion and connective tissue grafting and bone augmentation.

Isla Tucker – dental nurse
Isla is Dr Patel’s nurse and brings to the practice her bubbly personality and vast experience from the dental industry. She has been nursing since the age of 16 and has worked in both NHS and private dentistry. Her previous experience has involved nursing specifically in the field of dental implants, orthodontics and also practice management. She undertook her implant training at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute.

“I love my job and have always enjoyed being able to meet so many different kinds of people and be able to help and reassure them, I am a firm believer in hard work and the whole practice working as a team to create a friendly and reliable atmosphere.

When not at work Isla enjoys reading, spending time with her beloved rabbit, working out, Power kiting and socialising.

Susie - Hygienist
Susie, our hygienist is here to look after the health of your teeth and gums, she is keen to educate patients about oral hygiene and the correct use of brushes and floss. Susie worked as a dental technician prior to qualifying as a dental hygienist at Kings College Dental Institute in 1996. She has worked in both general and specialist dental practices across London, Surrey and Bristol over the last 10 years. Outside of work Susie enjoys going to the gym off road cycling and is currently learning the art of pottery at night school.

Rebecca Truelove
Rebecca who likes to be known as “becky” has been in dentistry since she was 16 years old (11 years), she is a fully qualified dental nurse and has gained experience working in both private and NHS dental practices. She has also worked as a specialised orthodontic nurse and so brings to the practice expertise when assisting Dr Patel in treatments involving teeth straightening with the Invisalign and Inman Aligner system. Rebecca's key role is in practice management and being on the front desk to greet patients and ensure that they are comfortable. She also nurses for Dr Patel from time to time. When not at work she enjoys live music and socialising.
