Dr Patel has undertaken extensive postgraduate training, working under the tutelage of some of the world’s best cosmetic dentists. His training in the United States, in famous Hollywood celebrity dental studios has gained him the knowledge and skills to offer unparalleled cosmetic dentistry in the UK. Dr Patel regularly travels back to the USA to work alongside celebrity dentists and keep up to date with the very latest advances in dentistry and technology.
He has also undertaken special training in Occlusion and Orthodontics and is highly experienced in treating problems associated with the jaw joint (including associated pain and migraines). Dr Riz Syed
Dr Riz Syed qualified in 1999 at The Royal London Hospital. He has since worked in Oral and Maxillo-Facial surgery at The Royal London Hospital after which he worked in a number of specialist surgical practices. He lectures on all aspects of dentistry and is now a mentor for Nobel Biocare, helping new implant surgeons in all apects of implant dentistry. He works extensively with Nobel Guide Surgery and has been awarded the clinic of excellence in implant dentistry.
Dr Syed has successfully completed extensive post graduate studies in advanced implant dentistry. He has trained extensively in both America and Europe on advanced hard and soft tissue management. He is also highly experienced in more complex aspects of implant surgery such as sinus grafting, ridge expansion, connective tissue grafting and bone augmentation.
Isla Tucker – Dental Nurse
Isla has been nursing since the age of 16 and is Dr Patel’s nurse. She brings to the practice her bubbly personality and vast experience from the dental industry. She has worked in both NHS and private dentistry. Her previous experience has involved nursing specifically in the field of dental implants, orthodontics and also practice management. She undertook her implant training at the prestigious Eastman Dental Institute.

When not at work Isla enjoys reading, spending time with her beloved rabbit, working out, Power kiting and socialising.
Susie Gentle - Hygienist
Susie, our hygienist is here to look after the health of your teeth and gums. she is enthusiastic and keen to educate patients about oral hygiene and the correct use of brushes and floss. Susie worked as a dental technician prior to qualifying as a dental hygienist at Kings College Dental Institute in 1996. She has worked in both general and specialist dental practices across London, Surrey and Bristol over the last 10 years. Outside of work Susie enjoys going to the gym off road cycling and is currently learning the art of pottery at night school.
Rebecca Truelove - Concierge
Rebecca who likes to be known as “Becky” has been in dentistry since she was 16. She is fully qualified and has gained experience working in both private and NHS dental practices. She has also worked as an orthodontic nurse and so brings to the practice expertise when assisting Dr Patel in treatments involving teeth straightening with the Invisalign and Inman Aligner system. Becky's key role at The Mulberry involves practice management and being on the front desk to greet patients and ensure that they are comfortable. When not at work she enjoys live-music, cooking and socialising.
