The magic of Teeth Whitening in Kingston-upon-Thames

It is generally thought that if your teeth look beautifully white and healthy, then you are going to have a healthy demeanour throughout your mouth- and it’s true. People who have remarkably white teeth are those that have had them whitened, and your dentist would not allow this to have happened unless your mouth was free from gum disease and tooth decay first. This is why they don’t like you going DIY with your teeth whitening unless you have consulted with them to begin with. DIY teeth whitening is big business around Kingston-upon-Thames: you can buy endless products in the shops to get you started. Bleaching pens are great for touching up the odd off-coloured tooth here and there, whereas, using whitening toothpastes can get you teeth looking sparkly everywhere. But it is the full home bleaching kits, with trays and bleach, which people go mad for- people like to do things themselves and now they have the opportunity. But it seems an odd way to go about things when your dentist can do it for you and give you supreme results. Laser tooth whitening is superb and for only an hour in the chair, plus a £100, you can have a look that you only ever dreamed about before. Contact Mulberry dental care before you make your choices; they may be based in Walton, but they serve the area and can help give you focus in your choices.

Teeth Whitening or Veneers: You decided in Sunbury

When you decide to get your teeth into shape in Sunbury, there are various ways to go about doing this: a little advice may well be needed at first, so you should contact Mulberry dental care; based in Walton, Surrey, they serve the area and can guide you through your options. Essentially, the choices between having dental veneers or teeth whitening comes down to the condition of your teeth. If they are crooked, gapped, chipped or cracked, then you will need veneers to cover up these problems. They can help to turn back the years in your smile and being durable, they will last you a good 15 years if you look after them. On the flip side of veneers though, if your teeth are in pretty fine shape and only look a little jaded through discolouration, then getting them whitened is the preferable way forward. You can buy toothpastes, colouring pens and home DIY bleaching kits if you fancy taking the job on yourself, but you can get the state-of-the-art laser bleaching done by your dentist, quickly and cheaply. Whatever you decide on, both the final results from veneers and whitening are phenomenal and will transform your smile beautifully.

Tooth whitening; does it really work? A Sunbury dentist tells all

Teeth whitening has become a popular way of getting that Hollywood Movie Star look for our teeth, there are some very popular and successful methods on the market, says a Sunbury dentist. They range from DIY kits to a Blue Light and gel method. The DIY kit is available at most chemist shops and is easy to apply. Basically you simply mix up a bleaching agent and pour some of it into a mould of your teeth. The mould kit is included and consists of a hard gum shield, which you put into hot water, as you would do with a sporting shield, and then bite into it to make an impression of your teeth in the shield. You then wear the shield, top and bottom, with the bleach in it and take it off after a set time. You clean the shield so you can use it again. The intense Blue Light whitening is done in a salon by a trained technician. It takes just an hour and consists of 3 fifteen minute sessions. The sessions start with a gum shield to protect your lips, gums and tongue from the light, then a gel is coated onto the teeth and the light is shone on your exposed teeth, the reaction blends the natural enamel of the teeth with the gel, and makes them instantly whiter. It costs from £200-400 and is available in a lot of High Street salons. There is no real comparison with the methods, they all work and they all work in different ways and to different degrees on individual teeth, but one thing they all have in common is that they do work and well.
